Tramatch Privacy Policy

1.     What information do we collect?

1.1  Usage Information: We collect information about your activity on our services, such as how you use them (e.g., date and time you logged in, features you’ve been using, searches, clicks, and pages shown to you, referring webpage address, advertising that you click on) and how you interact with other users (e.g., users you connect and interact with, time and date of your exchanges, number of messages you send and receive). 1.2  Device Information: We collect information from and about the device(s) you use to access our services, including any information that you voluntarily submit to the Website. This is collected based on our legitimate interests to ensure the security and functionality of our services.

1.4  Sensitive Information: Personal relationship status, religious status, hobbies, interests, goals, and ambitions. We collect sensitive personal information such as your relationship status and religious beliefs only with your explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

1.5  Biographical Information To administer and protect our business and our Services (including troubleshooting, fraud prevention, IT security, data analysis, testing, system maintenance, support, reporting and hosting of data)

1.6  IP Address Analytics (such as analysing usage of the Services).   Improve the Services to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you.   Marketing and advertising.   To ascertain your preferences.

1.7  Geolocation To enable users to find other users nearby, in order to facilitate virtual or real life meet ups.

3.     Your Data Protection Rights

4.      International Data Transfers

If your personal data is transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA), we will ensure that adequate safeguards are in place to protect your information in compliance with applicable data protection laws in the country of destination for the data to be transferred.

5.     Data Retention

5.1 Tramatch will retain your personal information for as long as we deem it reasonably necessary, in order to fulfil the purpose for which we collected such information. To determine the appropriate retention period of your personal information, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, as well as the applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting or other requirements.

5.2 How long will Tramatch retain your information?

5.3 It will also depend on the type of account you have at Tramatch and whether your account has been deactivated and/or deleted. For example, if you have created yourself a profile looking for marriage and you have closed your account without the need for any further intervention from us, then the personal information in your account will be fully deleted and anonymized after 2 years. We do have in place a mention of these in our Terms and Conditions when an account goes into archiving and how we retain the information when there has been a breach in our Terms and Conditions policy regarding an account. Therefore, in certain circumstances, we will retain your personal information for a longer period, including in the event of an on-going complaint, or in the context of a criminal, financial or regulatory investigation (or similar), if we consider the retention is needed to protect the health, safety and well-being of those involved at Tramatch or other users and/or third parties, we will retain this information for longer than 2 years, if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation in respect to our affiliation with you.

5.4 Please note, we will, however continue to retain anonymized transactional records and purchase complaint records. If at any point you have any doubts about how we collect, store and retain your personal information and this is not clear enough, then please get in touch via the “contact us” button in our website.

5.5 Your rights regarding your personal information

 In accordance with the applicable law you have the following rights in respect of the personal information you have volunteered to us and that we hold:

a)     Right of access: you have the right to obtain access to your personal information.

b)    Right of portability: you have the right in certain circumstances, to receive a copy of the personal information you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format that supports re-use or to request the transfer of the personal information we hold of you to another person. This request should be done in writing.

c)     Right to rectification: you have the right to obtain rectification of any inaccurate and/or incomplete personal information we hold about you without undue delay.

d)    Righ to erase: you have the right in certain circumstances, to requite that we erase the personal information we hold about you, without undue delay if the continued processing of that personal information is not justified.

e)     Right to restriction: you have the right in some circumstances to request that we limit the purposes for which we process your personal information if the continued processing of the personal information in this way is not justified such as where the accuracy of the personal information is contested by you.

f)     Right to withdraw consent: if you have provided consent to any processing of your personal information you have a right to withdraw that consent (without affecting the lawfulness of our processing prior to you having withdrawn your consent).

g)    Right to object: you have the right, in certain circumstances to object to any processing based on our legitimate interests. You can also object our marketing activities for any reason by clicking the “unsubscribe” link ser out in our marketing communications you receive or toggling your preferences in your account settings.

5.6 Please note the above rights are not absolute, and we reserve the right to refuse requests made either wholly or partly, where exceptions under applicable law apply.

5.9 Special categories of personal data
